Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Joseph Dunn (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the SentiPex.io mobile application, related websites we operate (including our marketing site), and our backend services that power your account (collectively, the “Services”).
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Services.
1. Who we are
We operate SentiPex.io. For privacy questions, contact us at: Innovatejds@gmail.com
2. Information we collect
We keep the data we collect limited to what we need to run the Services and secure your account.
A. Information you provide
- Email address — when you create an account or sign in with Google, we may store the email address associated with your Google account for identification, sign-in, password reset (if applicable), and support.
- Phone number — if you choose phone sign-in or add a phone number in the app, we store that number and related authentication metadata needed to verify you and protect your account.
B. Information collected automatically
- Device and app diagnostics — such as app version and basic technical data needed for reliability and security (for example, through Firebase or similar platform services we configure).
- Usage tied to your account — for example, feature usage needed to operate token-metered features you choose to use inside the app.
C. What we do not do with your data
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your email or phone number with advertisers for their own marketing.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- create and authenticate your account;
- provide, maintain, and improve the Services;
- detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
- communicate with you about the Services (for example, account or security notices);
- comply with law and enforce our Terms.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Services you request); legitimate interests (security, product improvement, fraud prevention); and consent where required (for example, for certain optional communications or permissions you grant in the OS).
5. Service providers
We use trusted infrastructure and platform providers to host and operate the Services. Depending on how you sign in and how the app is configured, this may include:
- Google (Google Sign-In, and when you use the Android app, Google Play) — governed by Google’s policies;
- Firebase / Google Cloud (authentication and related backend services) — see Google’s privacy documentation for those products.
These providers process data on our behalf under contractual terms and only as needed to provide their services to us.
6. Payments (Google Play)
If you purchase subscriptions or in-app products on Android, purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card number from Google Play. Payment and refund rules are handled under Google Play’s terms and policies. You should review Google’s disclosures for purchases made through Google Play.
7. Data retention
We retain account-related information (such as email and phone number tied to your account) for as long as your account is active and for a limited period afterward where needed for security, backups, legal compliance, or dispute resolution, unless a longer period is required by law.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can contact us at Innovatejds@gmail.com or request account data deletion (sign-in required). You may also be able to manage some account information directly in the app (for example, in Settings).
10. Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
11. International transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your country.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law (for example, in-app notice).
13. California / U.S. state privacy notices (summary)
If a U.S. state privacy law applies to you, you may have additional rights (such as opt-out of “sale” or “sharing” / targeted advertising, where applicable). We do not sell your personal information as described in the “What we do not do” section above. To exercise rights, email Innovatejds@gmail.com.
14. Disclaimer
This policy is provided for transparency. It is not legal advice. For regulated or high-risk use cases, consult qualified counsel.
15. Market data, caching, and scan results
When you request a stock scan, we may fetch market data from third-party vendors (primarily Financial Modeling Prep) and run it through our Apex Alpha scoring engine. Scan results for a given ticker may be cached on our servers for a shared time window (typically four hours) so the first user to scan that symbol within the window caches the full result for other users until the window expires; after expiry, the next scan refreshes live vendor data and supplemental pack fill-ins. Intraday vendor responses may be stored in our database during the trading day; an end-of-day process may update Cloudflare-hosted data packs used for scheduled jobs and gap-fill. We do not display cache metadata in scan results; this section explains how the service operates behind the scenes.
